In the final weeks leading up to Graduation Day 2022, EAB will celebrate each of its Seniors via the Senior Spotlight. he High School Faculty is committed to making sure each member of the Class of 2022 knows how much they have meant to this school and how proud we are of them. Today, the Senior in the spotlight is Caroline Santana Morvan. Caroline has been a proud member of the EAB Community for the past four years.
Caroline reflects back on her time at EAB and remembers her favorite moments as spending time in the Chemistry lab with her friends and Ms Oehlke and hanging out there. She enjoyed helping her friends when they had difficulties and discussing crazy new discoveries with her teachers. Caroline will really miss a lot of things about her time at EAB commenting "The community, the memories I’m leaving behind and leaving with, the teachers (especially Dr. Sieve) who have helped me along the way and given me the support I needed to get to the finish line."
When asked about her proudest moments Caroline explains how she started the first Medlife Chapter in Brazil, saying "I am proud of the moments I shared with my friends that even though are already in university we still keep in touch. I’m proud of founding the first ever Medlife Chapter in Brazil and having an amazing leadership team alongside with me (as Ms. Bree would say in our CAS meeting that Medlife was “my baby”) - and proud that I’m leaving this passion of mine behind to be continued throughout the years at EAB."
Caroline would like to take this opportunity to thank her Mom for being her best friend and her biggest supporter. She would like to thank Dr Sieve for always believing in her potential and her Chemistry teachers Ms Agostini and Ms Oehlke for just being there to listen to what she had to say and celebrating her victories with her. Carolines teachers will always remember her as someone who has met challenges head on and has come out stronger because of them, noting that she is a skilled researcher who never shies away from a challenge.
Caroline plans to pursue a degree in either Biomedical Science or Biomedical Engineering after leaving EAB.
