In the final weeks leading up to Graduation Day 2022, EAB will celebrate each of its Seniors via the Senior Spotlight. he High School Faculty is committed to making sure each member of the Class of 2022 knows how much they have meant to this school and how proud we are of them. Today, the Senior in the spotlight is Juan Choi. Juan has been a proud member of the EAB Community since arriving on campus at the beginning of grade 11.
Juan has been a dedicated student in all areas, but has truly shined in the area of sciences. This capable young man has performed extremely well in HL Chemistry and Biology, which will serve him exceedingly well as he enters a 5 year medical school program in the Caribbean! His teachers consistently remark on not only Juan's talent as a student, but also his kindness. His kindness is exactly what led him to extend himself beyond the classroom and into both our EAB community as well as the Brasilia community. Juan has been an active participant of several EAB clubs, even serving as the president for two of them, and has also spent time volunteering at refugee camps around Brasilia.
When Juan isn't in one of our science labs or leading one of his clubs, he enjoys spending time relaxing with friends. Some of his favorite memories include lunchroom chats with his friends, and participating in the string ensemble!
