In the final weeks leading up to Graduation Day 2022, EAB will celebrate each of its Seniors via the Senior Spotlight. he High School Faculty is committed to making sure each member of the Class of 2022 knows how much they have meant to this school and how proud we are of them. Today, the Senior in the spotlight is Júlia Machado. Julia has been a proud member of the EAB Community since arriving on campus as a smiling three year old.
Julia has taken some time to reflect on her memories of EAB. "My kinder-garden memories are my favorite. When I think about my childhood, EAB is the first thing that pops up in my mind. I think it's because of the fact that I have studied in this school since I was two years old." Julia reflects. She remembers playing in the big playground with all of her friends and learning and cherishing special moments with her teachers over the past fifteen years.
On leaving EAB Julia admits she is a little nervous over what to expect in the next phase of her life, in a new place. However she is looking forward to keeping in touch with her friends and teachers when she leaves, even though it will be a strange and new experience not being here every day. Julia is most proud of the person EAB has helped her become, not just in an educational manner, but who she has become as a person.
Julia would like to use this time to thank some people, starting with her parents. "My parents are definitely the group of people that I would like to thank the most, they have always had my back and are the reason I am here today
". Julia also takes this opportunity to thank her teachers for investing in her learning and a special thank you goes out to Mr Bair for being such an amazing principal.
Julia's teachers remember her time at EAB fondly especially her contribution to sports saying "Brave, determined and outspoken! Coaching Julia throughout the years has been a tremendous joy. To see her improve year after year and play a crucial role in championship teams has been truly gratifying."
Julia will move on to study for the vestibular next year and plans to apply to a Brazilian University.
