In the final weeks leading up to Graduation Day 2022, EAB will celebrate each of its Seniors via the Senior Spotlight. The High School Faculty is committed to making sure each member of the Class of 2022 knows how much they have meant to this school and how proud we are of them. Today, the Senior in the spotlight is Lauren Laverty. Lauren has been a proud member of the EAB Community for the past three years.
Lauren arrived three years ago to EAB and immediately made her presence known on campus. She has entrenched herself in the community and has brought her charisma, bold decision making and kind nature to numerous clubs and athletics. Her teachers routinely comment on her patience, kindness and curious nature. She has so many treasured memories from EAB that include spending time with her friends and her teachers, but there is one particular memory that stands out. Lauren's experience participating in the 2021 field day as a junior was a memory she cherishes. She vividly remembers the volleyball game where juniors and seniors played against each other and the entire high school came to watch and cheer them on! This memory is a perfect example of the thing Lauren will miss most about EAB: the people.
Lauren would like to especially thank her parents who are her biggest supporters, and acknowledge that without them her biggest achievements would not have occurred. She would like to thank all of her teachers, and especially Ms. Leishear for her openness, Ms. Agostini for tmaking such a challenging subject fun and interesting, and Mrs. Kahle for being so incredibly understanding! It's safe to say that as much as Lauren will miss EAB, EAB will miss Lauren just as much! Best of luck at University of British Columbia next year!
