Escola Gourmet is a cafeteria company that specializes in supplying food to schools that value healthy eating. At EAB, we understand the role that school plays in the development of healthy eating habits and we are committed to providing nutritious food for our students.

ECP/Lower School

Escola Gourmet uses the Nutrebem app. The Nutrebem app is used by many schools in Brazil and is easy to use. Parents can create an account, link their child, add a balance, and order meals.

Expanding on options to better serve our community, our canteen has now exclusive buffet spaces for ECP and Lower School. Here are some questions that may arise:

How will ECP and Lower School students pay for lunch?

The payment method remains the same in the Nutrebem app, except that the lunch options are now called "LS buffet" and "ECP buffet."

What will the lunch options be, and how will they be made available?

The options remain the same: vegetarian, meat, and white meat. The difference is that they all will be offered simultaneously at the buffet.

How will the service work?

For the ECP, we suggest that parents talk to the children beforehand to guide them in making the family preference choices for lunch. There will be staff responsible for assisting the children at this time.

For Lower School, children will be served as a regular buffet but will also have staff supervision.

Is the Nutrebem app the only payment method?

It is possible to pay in person at lunchtime, but to avoid lines and provide more comfort to the children, we kindly ask that you always prefer to buy in advance through the app.

Snacks can be purchased in the cafeteria, à la carte, and paid for with cash or credit/debit card.

Lunch can be purchased through the app or at the cafeteria in cash or credit/debit card. If the student chooses to use the Nutrebem balance, they will need an access code. For this option, the student will also need to download the app (buttons available in the "ECP/Lower School" section above). Parents can also pre-order US student lunches, but the lunches are not delivered. The student will serve themselves at the canteen's buffet.

PLEASE NOTE: Pre-orders must be made by 11:59 pm of the previous day.

Payment

Please note that if you choose not to use any of the payment methods described above, the cafeteria also accepts cash (BRL).

Of course, our cafeteria is not the only option your child has for lunch. If you prefer, you can send snacks and a bagged lunch with your child in the morning. Please note that in EAB no food deliveries are allowed (e.g. iFood, Uber Eats, daily drop-offs via drivers or nannies). Checks are not accepted.
