EAB eSports Program Updates!
EAB Tech Department

The EAB eSports program is entering a new phase. Under the guidance of club advisor Mr. Rodrigo Teixeira, our eSports club is officially competing in a challenging online international tournament, called Liga das Américas, where many other international schools from Latin America are participating. This competition features two major titles: Minecraft for Education and Rocket League. Participation involves enthusiastic students across grades 6 through 10 who are dedicated to demonstrating their skills. This online tournament could unlock the exciting opportunity for our teams to compete overseas, marking a significant milestone for EAB from Brazil on the global eSports stage.

To ensure our students are game-ready and to promote wider engagement, the EAB eSports program recently hosted an open training session. Held on the morning of Saturday, April 11, the session provided students with focused time to practice strategies and teamwork in both Minecraft for Education and Rocket League. This event is a practical demonstration of the program’s core philosophy. The eSports initiative is designed not only to drive competitive success but also to actively foster healthy competition and strong sportsmanship among participants.

Ultimately, the EAB eSports club aims to be an inclusive space for all students, particularly those who do not typically participate in traditional school sports. By providing an organized, supportive, and competitive environment built around popular digital platforms, EAB is promoting teamwork, strategic problem-solving, and digital citizenship. The entire Tech Department and the EAB community are excited to support our talented students as they navigate the challenges of this international online competition and strive for the chance to represent EAB internationally.
