Schoolwide News
This Thursday, the EAB Brasilia Candangos Chapter proudly welcomed its newest members into the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) and the National Honor Society (NHS). The swearing-in ceremony was a heartfelt celebration of academic excellence, leadership, service, and character, values that are the foundation of these prestigious organizations. Students in grades 7-9 were sworn in for NJHS and students in grades 10-12 were sworn in for NHS.
A Ceremony of Recognition
The event took place in the school auditorium, filled with proud families, teachers, and students. As the ceremony began, attendees were greeted by the chapter's advisors, who highlighted the significance of the NJHS and NHS in promoting a commitment to academic success and community service.
The Oath of Membership
The highlight of the ceremony was the swearing-in oath. All inductees recite the oath that marks the beginning of their journey as leaders within the school and community. These young leaders have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and a commitment to service, embodying the ideals of scholarship, leadership, character, and service that the NJHS and NHS stand for here at EAB and across the world in every chapter.
Looking Ahead
The newly sworn-in members are excited to take on their roles in the EAB community. As new members, they will participate in various service projects, leadership workshops, and initiatives that not only benefit their school but that will also enrich the broader Brasilia community.
The EAB Brasilia Candangos Chapter is thrilled to see what these young leaders will accomplish in the coming year. Congratulations to all the new members! We can’t wait to see you shine!
