The American School of Brasilia is excited to invite all its community members to enjoy this year's Lower School End-of-Year Holiday Show on Sunday, December 4, in our Auditorium. The event was planned to place generosity in the spotlight. In partnership with Reciclando Sons Institute, which uses music education as a tool for social and productive inclusion for children, adolescents, and youth at Estrutural, EAB set out to live its mission to its full potential.
Service does not begin or end with a donation. It starts with the awareness of human interconnectedness, empathy and realizing that bold and thoughtful actions make a difference. It requires planning, strategy, and critical thinking. It brings engagement, develops interests, and provides real-world exchanges.
- Please bring one toy for donation.
- ECP - Grade 1 Show will be from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
- Grade 2 - Grade 5 Show will be from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm.
- Lunch will be sold at the US Canteen for families staying for both shows. Please purchase a lunch ticket by December 1st so that the Canteen can plan accordingly.
Throughout the semester, EAB students, staff, faculty, and members of Reciclando Sons exchanged experiences and knowledge through rehearsals, sports competitions, and inclusive Music, PE, Language, Art, and Makerspace classes. We met on and off campus. We were inspired and inspired.
We discussed topics of inclusion, social diversity and respect, empathy, honesty, and self-awareness at assemblies, Flex, and through discussions in SEL (social and emotional learning) because true leaders learn through experience, are compassionate, and understand that their achievements depend on supporting other's dreams and aspirations.
We welcome you to see the final product of this whole-school collaboration! This December, please brace yourselves for beautiful moments at the LS End of Year Show.
