Mark your calendars: Join us for a mini-opening of the Year 1 (Grade 11) IB Art Exhibition on December 5th from 4 PM to 6 PM on the 1st floor of our Arts & Innovation Center, with the full exhibit displayed on the 2nd-floor gallery. The exhibition will be open to classes from Friday, December 6, through Wednesday, December 11, from 8 AM to 4 PM in the Arts & Innovation Center!
This exhibition celebrates the incredible creativity and dedication of our nine Year 1 IB Art students, each presenting a unique collection of five original artworks. Crafted with diverse materials and techniques, these pieces delve into deeply personal themes, offering a glimpse into each student’s artistic journey. Accompanying each artwork is a brief description where students articulate their creative intentions, influenced by extensive research on renowned artists and hands-on experimentation—all documented in their sketchbooks. This exhibition marks a significant milestone in their IB Art journey, setting the stage for their final Year 2 Exhibition next year.
