In case you missed our other Bulletin posts on this amazing project, here is the information below and be sure not to miss the premiere TODAY, September 23rd!
Written by the Musical Theater Club leaders and developed by the club members, the short film project was created to represent and destigmatize mental health. Yellow Feelings follows the story of a teenage girl as she struggles with her identity and mental illness after losing her sister. The film will be screened on September 23rd in the auditorium at 6 pm.
There will be popcorn and other snacks sold, all the proceeds of which will be used to donate hygiene products, clothes, and nonperishable food to the Adolescentro, an institution dedicated to helping and supporting teenagers' mental health. We will also be collecting the following items:
- Yoga mats
- Clothing, shoes, and household items (they accept absolutely anything)
- Art supplies (canvas, paint, paintbrushes, crayons)
- Office supplies (block of paper, pens, pencils, crayons, etc.)
To enter the event, you can either buy the tickets on Sympla or donate any of the products said above.
